I’m super excited for tomorrow’s pre-release of On1 Photo’s new photo processing software, On1 Photo RAW! It’s the first all-new raw image processor in years and it’s built from the ground up to utilize the power of today’s modern graphics card. You don’t need to be a pro to have a blast with this software; it’s easy to use and the creative possibilities are endless. Just about every one of my photos goes through a round of On1 Effects, which is a part of On1 Photo RAW.
This lonely flower, found at Grintner Farms’ sunflower field, was naked, tall and alone. It stood out and wanted to be photographed. Obviously, the leaves were shed for a reason and his twin was cut down before him, to be taken home as a souvenir, no doubt. The short lives of Grintner Farm’s sunflowers are merciless and cruel.
This tired fence post sits outside of a small farm in rural Douglas Co, KS. For processing, I chose to go with a painterly look. This was accomplished with Topaz Lab’s Impression plug-in. It was also ran through the NIK Collection’s Color Efex Pro for styling, before being impressed.
