I’m super excited for tomorrow’s pre-release of On1 Photo’s new photo processing software, On1 Photo RAW! It’s the first all-new raw image processor in years and it’s built from the ground up to utilize the power of today’s modern graphics card. You don’t need to be a pro to have a blast with this software; it’s easy to use and the creative possibilities are endless. Just about every one of my photos goes through a round of On1 Effects, which is a part of On1 Photo RAW.
Day 21 of #MyJune30
This image was taken a few weeks back and I’ve just not gotten to process it. All processing was done in Lightroom for this one. I was out chasing the sunrise and after a few locations, I didn’t feel that I had captured the beauty I was going for. I quickly made my way to the Baker Wetlands Discovery Center and parked outside, near the highway. I marched down the hill, tripod and camera bad in tow, and set up for this shot. The colors were changing so fast, I got a new shots that really look different, even though they were taken at the same spot, all within a fifteen minute span. Sunrises will always keep a photographer on his/her toes!
The sun glows on the hillside as it rises on a cool, Kansas morning. I used an ICE 10 stop ND filter in order to drag the exposure for 15 seconds. I like how it gives the water a nice, smooth look. I especially like the color the newly risen sun casts along the banks.
